1. Who We Are
London Legends GT is a Warhammer Fantasy 8th Edition tournament organised by Dr Luke Blaxill, Simon Hughes, and Mark Merfield (the "Organisers"). For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the Organisers act as joint data controllers.

2. What Data We Collect
This website does not collect any personal data directly. We do not use contact forms, account registrations, or on-site data collection of any kind.
However, when you register for the tournament via email, we collect:
- Your name (and names of any attendees you register)
- Your email address
- Your army list submission
This information is provided voluntarily by you when you email us to register.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the personal data collected via email solely for the purposes of:
- Administering the tournament (registration, pairings, results)
- Communicating event-related information to attendees
- Publishing army lists on the London Legends GT Facebook event page prior to the event (as this is an open lists tournament)
Our lawful basis for processing this data is legitimate interest (to run the event you have registered for) and contract performance (fulfilling your ticket purchase).
4. Analytics & Tracking
We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics, tracking, or advertising tools on this website. We do not track your browsing behaviour, and we do not build user profiles.
5. Cookies
This website does not set any first-party cookies. We do not use cookie-based tracking of any kind.
However, this site loads resources from the following third-party services, which may set their own cookies or process connection data (such as your IP address) in accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Google Fonts – used to load typefaces. Google Privacy Policy
- Tailwind CSS CDN – used to load the CSS framework.
- Google Maps – embedded map on the venue section. Google Privacy Policy
As we do not set cookies ourselves, no cookie consent banner is required under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). You can control third-party cookies through your browser settings.
6. Payment Processing
Ticket payments are processed through PayPal. When you make a payment, your financial data is handled entirely by PayPal in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment card details.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only shared:
- With other tournament attendees, in the form of published army lists (open lists event)
- On the London Legends GT Facebook event page for event administration
8. Data Retention
We retain your registration data (name, email, army list) for the duration of the event and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle any post-event queries, typically no longer than 12 months. After this period, your data will be deleted.
9. Your Rights
Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (subject to any legitimate reasons we may need to retain it)
- Object to processing of your data
- Data portability – receive your data in a structured format
- Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data rights have been breached

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
